# Nightly Settlement File Feed

 

  Overview  File formats 1  Connection 

 Nightly Settlement File Feed publishes one CSV per business day to /outbound/settlement at approximately 02:00 UTC, named settlement\_YYYYMMDD.csv for the date being settled. Authentication is by SSH key; send your public key to onboarding and connect as the account issued to you. Files remain available for 30 days. A zero-row file is still published on days with no activity, so an absent file means the run did not complete rather than that there was nothing to settle.

Column definition for one row of settlement\_YYYYMMDD.csv. The file is UTF-8, comma separated, with a header row, published daily to /outbound/settlement.

   FieldTypeRequiredDescription    `settlement_date` `string (date)` yes Business day being settled (YYYY-MM-DD).   `transaction_id` `string` yes Unique transaction reference.   `account_id` `string` yes Account the transaction settled against.   `amount` `number` yes Signed amount. Negative is a debit.   `currency` `string` yes ISO 4217 currency code.   `status` `string` yes Settlement outcome for the row.   `scheme_reference` `string` no Card or payment scheme reference, when the scheme supplies one.
